An exceptional and high quality pair of 19th century French Louis XVI. brass lamp base and gold arm 06. Each candlestick has an attractive and rich abrasive bronze cherub. A cherub with a gilt wicker basket on its head, and one with a gilt bronze amphora on its side. The 06 S-roll arms are decorated with stacked acanthus leaves and a scroll motif, in the center is a gilt bronze arch with a decorative garland wrapped around it. All original gilding and clear rust coating
