Oil on wood panel, panoramic view of the floods in Avignon signed Claude Firmin, dated 1902. Claude Firmin (1864-1944), painter from Avignon, pupil of Bonnat. He exhibited at the Salon of French artists from 1889 to 1922. Member of the group of Thirteen, he was director of the School of Fine Arts in Avignon from 1937 to 1941. Works present in the Calvet and Louis Vouland museums in Avignon.
