Superb and elegant 18th century tomb chest of drawers in cherry wood. It rests on scrolled feet on the front, the lower crosspiece strongly scalloped and sculpted. The uprights are molded in relief and carved with acanthus leaves and scrolls. The chest of drawers opens on the front with 3 drawers finely worked and decorated with period gilded bronzes. The sides of the highly ornate dresser are provided with panels in a policeman's hat. The set is topped with a molded sheet top. Work from the south west of France in very good condition, restoration on the rear legs. This piece of furniture is of great elegance by its forms and its sculpture, entirely original and timeless it is of superb quality.
