"Rare Rank Figure From The Banks Islands In Vanuatu"
This Grade Figure collected in the 1960s by Mrs. Suzanne Bastien in the Banks Islands in Gaua, represents a protective ancestor. Anthropomorphic sculpture is characteristic of this region and is quite different from the more common ones present on the island of Ambrym.
