Painter, watercolourist, Belgian decorator. Brother of the painter Amédée Lynen.
Participated in the "Salon Triennal des Beaux-Arts in Brussels in 1903, in "The General Exhibition of Fine Arts in Brussels in 1907.
From 1875 to 1905, he formed a team with Pierre Devis in the decoration workshops at rue du Marais (Brussels).
They were the first to bond for a long time at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie.
