A Pair Of 19th Century Candelabra, Louis Philippe Charles X Style.

These antique candelabra are a wonderful combination of three contrasting tones: the golden color of the gilding, the black color of the bronze which makes the figure of the angel a central point and the dark green color of the malachite brings high aesthetic characteristics to the end. The bases of the candelabras have a rectangular shape which provides a solid base. The gilded bronze motifs inlaid on the rectangular bases are reminiscent of Art Nouveau. Art Nouveau is famous for its flowery and asymmetrical waves inspired by nature such as flowers, plants, with soft curves such as semicircles, parabolas or arcs, which also resemble the style of Louis Philippe; king of France after the revolution of 1830.
