"Ivory Shoe Pommel Cane, XIXth Century"
Amusing and unusual cane in medlar wood with its finely carved ivory knob representing a foot shod in a holey shoe. The big toe sticking out of the slipper is missing and was formerly broken (see photos). Also note a small lack of ivory at the heel as well as cracks (see photos). Dimensions of the pommel: Length: 7cm Width: 2cm Height: 2.5cm Length of the cane: 85cm
