"Louis XV Woodwork Mirror In Faded Carved Wood, Mercury, XVIII"
Superb fully faded patina for this Louis XV period woodwork mirror. We present it to you in its found condition which gives it an unparalleled charm. Wood carved with staples, shells and flowers, mercury mirrors in two parts. Originally, this mirror had to be gold leaf because there are still some traces, then it was lacquered in gray and then in two different greens. It must have been faded and it reached us in this state. Very interesting piece to make a country decor, the mirror placed carelessly on a piece of furniture with ivy around..
There must certainly have been a pediment because the top has been cut.
. Eighteenth century period. Delivery on pallet in wooden crate, 200 euros in France, 600 euros in EU and 1500 euros rest of the world.
