"Directoire Period Skeleton Clock"
Openwork clocks from the Directoire period, 30-day calendar, in gilded bronze and blue enamels, signed Coteau on the back of the dial. A rich decoration composed of an eagle and plant motifs surmounts the dial, itself supported by zoomorphic figures resting on a blue enameled arc decorated with golden stars. Red marble plinth with rich decoration in gilded bronze and finely chiselled on the front. France, Directoire period.
