Antique Sailors Scrimshaw Chinese Hongs Of Canton East India Company Coconut

A rare antique coconut bowl decorated in scrimshaw technique with a depiction of a Hong of Canton with two flags; a union jack and a naval ensign and a pagoda type building perhaps also a Hong? Around the border are compass roses and hearts.

It was difficult for me to photograph due to the polished surface, I apologise for the quality of the photos.

Period - 19th century

Condition - Good condition

Measurement - Height 11.5 cm
