British artist born in 1945 in Surrey. After a public school education, Christopher J. Harrison first trained with his father, the artist Frederick C. Harrison. He also gained experience as a carpenter while studying pottery and its forms. This allowed him to reach a high level in the art of Trompe l'Oeil. Christopher Harrison is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition with eleven paintings hanging since 1974. Four paintings have been reproduced in the Academy's Illustrated Catalog and he is also a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of British Artists.
