British artist born in 1945 in Surrey. After a public school education, Christopher J. Harrison first trained with his father, the artist Frederick C. Harrison. He also gained experience as a carpenter while studying pottery and its forms. This allowed him to reach a high level in the art of Trompe l'Oeil. Christopher Harrison is a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition with eleven paintings hanging since 1974. Four paintings have been reproduced in the Academy's Illustrated Catalog and he is also a regular exhibitor at the Royal Society of British Artists. CJH's works are present in galleries and private collections around the world. His most recent and ambitious commission is for the United States Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
