Walks in Pompeii is a rare work, The author L. Goro Von Agyagfalva (1786-1843) is a Hungarian designer and writer who lived between the 18th and 19th centuries. He trained at the Academy of Engineering in Vienna and - during the Napoleonic Wars - he lived in Austria, then in Dalmatia and later in Naples, where in 1821 he worked as a war engineer. The results of these archaeological studies in Pompeii are collected in the Wanderungen durch Pompeji, published in 1825.
