Camée En Or 18k, Conche Et Perles Fines

This magnificent cameo in conch, finely chased, must date from the second part of the 19th century.
Its colour is angel skin pink with some shades of pink and cream.
It is set in an 18K gold frame (shell hallmark) slightly chased on both edges.
Sixteen fine pearls surround the cameo.

It is in perfect condition. No breakage, no repairs have been noted.

I wear it on a thick modern chain, with the clasp that holds the cameo.
I can easily match it with a white shirt or a white t-shirt worn over jeans.
This jewel, supposedly outdated, is just timeless and can be worn in an extremely offbeat way ... chic shirt and linen trousers, white t-shirt and jeans ... so many elegant and casual combinations to sublimate it !
