Louis XIII Walnut Table, 17th Century. Side Table.

Charming little walnut table from the second half of the 17th century. It rests on four baluster feet connected by an H-shaped spacer; It opens on the front with a large belt drawer whose missing lock has been replaced by a small graft (see photo). The drawer is mounted in a dovetail and its opening is ensured by a wrought iron pull ring. Our table is marked by the wear and tear of time but is still in very good condition given its age. Very charming. This piece of furniture has a small height which lets us presume that it was intended to receive on its tray either a chest or a travel trunk, it is therefore not a writing table, Which therefore gives it a certain rarity.
