Brittany maritime landscape signed “Eitel” for Jacques EITEL (1926-2006) known as EITELWEIN. Place identified by a native of the town, it is Étel in Morbihan. Large oil on canvas 65 x 92 cm. Probably a work from the 60's. Wooden frame painted in gold, 67 x 94 cm. Condition report: good general condition, small lack of paint, dirt.

Jacques Eitel was born in 1926 in Paris. A pupil of Narbonne at the School of Fine Arts, he exhibited landscapes and “essentially sea views which he treated in a spirit of synthesizing forms (Bénézit, 1976: 136)” in the Salons of the capital of France.
