Pair of late Louis XVI period marble and gilt bronze candlesticks, France, Late 18th century, Circa 1790-1800, the stem in fluted white marble and asparagus in gilt bronze, resting on a square base in blue Turquin marble. Original gilding with some wear from time, some tiny scratches on the barrels at the level of the upper screwing. Beautiful pair in very good original condition.
