Pair of four-light candelabra with deep black marble shafts with rich gilt bronze decoration and polychrome champlevé enamel cloisonné enamels in the style of Byzantine arabesques, embellished with crowned bearded men's faces, they rest on circular bases supported by 4 lion paws. These candelabra bear the signature around the base F.BARBEDIENNE for Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892) model attributable to the work of Louis-Constant DEVIN, designer sculptor and ornamentalist French, main collaborator of Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE from 1855 to 1888. These candelabras have All their original gilding has been preserved with some traces of slight wear. A chain is missing and a part has been restored (see photos but nothing major), beautiful shine of the fine black marble.
