"Armchair In Walnut, Louis XVI Period - Early 19th Century"
Walnut armchair, Louis XVI period. It is covered with a yellow fabric with nail finishes. Its upholstery, in used condition, is lined with floral friezes in orange and green hues. The file is reversed, the windings with eyes in Volutes. The seat is Pelota on Strap and squared. The front crossbeam is noticeably concave. The armrests are provided with cuffs. They are plumb and supported by Baluster brackets. The latter are extended by angles with decorations of rosettes and fluted feet. Where these two front legs are tapered, the rear ones are Sabers. We will appreciate the generous dimensions of this Bicentenary armchair, which we can rejuvenate with an upholstery fabric in harmony with both our desires and our decoration. ******** Period: Early 19th century Perfect condition of wood after restoration in our workshop.
