Barrel Lock With Wine Grapes
Burgundian or alsacian barrel lock in carved oak wood with bunches of grapes and vine leaves on the angled edges. The central hole is increased by a trim of wrought iron with fleur-de-lis to accommodate the closing nut.
The bunches of grapes are in strong relief and it is a rare and elegantly décorative specimen nalthough less elaborate than the usual Alsatian pieces.
