Superb pair of faience lamps by Vieillard in Bordeaux, works from the end of the 19th century, around 1880. The decorations are due to the famous enamel artist Amédé de Caranza, author of the extraordinary Bordeaux enamels. The work of needlework enamels has reached its perfection here with its motifs of chimeras and other fantastic birds. Bronze bases with stylized lions These two lamps are in perfect condition, functional, the sockets and electric cables are new. High quality objects rarely available in pairs.
