Japanese armour, tatehagi-do gusoku type. Kaga Province Period: Late Edo. Kabuto: sujibachi type with 16 strips adorned with 9 bonji representing 9 Buddhist deities :Fudo in the center  then left shogun jizo au centre  on ne peux pas lire The helmets of kaga workshops are often placed in the category of Akodanari because of the slight prominence of the back of the skull. Natural iron Shikoro komanju in black lacquered iron braided in green silk sugake. Fukigaeshi covered with Same (ray skin) signed kashu ju Munetaka Menpo: ressei (fierce) type in natural iron Atelier kaga Note the appliques on the cheeks which mark a specificity of the Kaga workshops. We find this same applique on the shoulders of the kote. Black lacquer nodowa style yodarekake braided in green silk sugake. Do type rokumaï tatehagi in natural iron 6 plates assembled vertically. Kaga workshop signed Kashu ju Myochin Ki Nobutomo Kusazuri belt in lacquered leather in black kitsuke sane and braided in green silk kebiki. The inside of the do and the kusazuri is gold lacquered. This do is accompanied by its iron sodas lacquered in black kitsuke and braided in murasaki silk kebiki. Special features: the absence of a hinge on the left side, thus allowing precise adjustment according to the build of the wearer. The applied bonji on the front represents Amida. Materials; brass.
