Maison Gagneau, bronzier and manufacturer of lighting, was founded in Paris in 1800. The House was famous throughout the 19th century and took part in the Exposition des Produits de l’Industrie, at the Universal Exhibitions and was even part of the jury in the bronze category at the Universal Exhibition of 1889.
