Leopoldo Burlando was born in 1841 in Milan. He was a pupil of Luigi Bisi at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He is known for views of Venice and Milan, as well as interior perspective views of buildings such as the Charterhouse of Pavia and Milan Cathedral. He paints in oil and watercolour. Burlando is named honorary associate of the Brera Academy. He is also a professor of industrial design at the male orphanage in Milan. Leopoldo Burlando died in 1915.
