Strong Walloon sword of the gendarmerie of France, XVIII°, Louis XVI. Main knuckle arc iron mount referred to the spherical pommel. Multiple guards with 2 oblique secondary branches and two others in scrolls. 2 secondary branches of reinforcement in the shape of a heart in the ricasso. Quillon curved towards the blade. Strong flat ricasso blade and 2 cutting edges and 2 fullers along the entire length. Length: 109 cm Blade length: 91 cm Blade width at heel: 2.8 cm.
