The body of this large powder flask is made of brown horn.
At the level of the part near the beak, brass collar with small chiseled decoration. This collar is used to fix one of the 2 suspension rings
. At the larger end of the powder flask, another collar. Following, large cylindrical brass part , wich wearsthe second suspension ring.
Decoration of parallels lines which maybe are a representation of the Catalan flag.
This part is closed by a lid which is chiselled with a pretty floral decoration.
A chiseled central disc is held in place by a brass button.
Very nice patina
This old and genuine powder flask can perfectly complete a presentation with a flintock hunting rifle from Ripoll, for instance.
