The ceramic pitcher with pale yellow cover depicting a plump monk. Marked on the bottom: Luxembourg, model number Villeroy & Boch 208, can be read, other inscription, marked hollow in the paste under the enamel, The series of pitchers by Robj was most often made of polychrome porcelain and, more rarely, in monochrome earthenware as in this case. Very good condition, no faults or restorations. The bottle depicting a monk with a hat as a stopper has no mark on the bottom. The cover of the ceramic is a more intense yellow than that of the pitcher. The cap-hat has been restored.
