French. Painter of urban landscapes, water landscapes, seascapes, gouache painter, watercolourist. He was a pupil of his father, then of Jean Léon Gérome at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
He was a painter attached to the Navy Department. He appeared at the Salon of French Artists in Paris, obtaining an honorable mention in 1900, for the Universal Exhibition.
