Superb and rare dining room set from Maison Jansen, an illustrious French interior design company enjoying great international renown. Known for its luxurious models, Maison Jansen produced the Savonarole collection in the 1960s. Iconic in the pure neoclassical style, this set consists of a round table with a quadripod base and 4 elegant and decorative chairs. The table is made up of a circular top in transparent glass of 14mm, allowing to observe an important structure in chromed steel. A flat and round belt is held by 4 curved legs joined in the center by 4 spacers decorated in the center with brass rings. Each foot ends with a gilt brass pad. The 4 refined chairs, reminiscent of curule seats, have a curved back accompanied by small bronze knobs at the top. In the center we find a decorative brass ring. The seat, equipped with chrome-plated steel blades without deformation, is lined with a removable cushion in your ivory tone, embellished with beads around its perimeter and a quilting in the center. The chairs, heavy and robust, however, have an airy and harmonious design. Beautifully crafted and in perfect condition, you will inevitably be seduced by this exceptional set which will decorate both traditional and contemporary interiors.
