Object description :

"Rare XVIII S Candlestick Screen In Its Case."
Rare case-travel case in black shagreen containing a silver-plated clamp which attaches to a candle by means of a jaw and a flat spring and supports a green silk fan with a silver-plated mount (silver-plated original). all of which can be folded up and inserted into this case. This charming object, very neat in its execution, remains rare on the market and is presented in a very good state of preservation. We can just note a few flaws in silk. The presentation torch in the photo is not part of the lot for sale.
