The bag is made up of a frame decorated with bows, garlands of roses and trellises, typical of the end of the 19th century, before Art Nouveau. The closure is formed by two pine cones.
The body of the bag is an assembly of tiny silver rings forming a "chainmail".
A chain allows it to be worn around the wrist.
These all-silver bags were very popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
