"Louis XIII Inlaid Kneeler"
Italian kneeler of the seventeenth century,walnut plated with light wood inlays.
The triangular base has curved sides with ebonized frames,
in the center an inlay with scrolls, then re-proposed on the upper floor.
The drawer is supported by the shaft in turned black wood,
the lock was replaced with a working one.
Same turning and wood also on the three feet
on which the prie-dieu rests.
Restored and polished with shellac with a wax finish
