Louis XV style cartel with its wall console probably dating from the 19th century. The Thuret family is one of the most illustrious French watchmakers in the 17th and 17th centuries. Rich ornamentation in gilded bronze, frame in wood repainted with a green background in imitation of Martin varnish. Movement signed Thuret (watchmaker in Paris, Roman numeral dial in enamelled jail, with the figures of Fame and Apollo. Cartel height without console: 87 cm.
