Large earthenware planter from Langeais (Indre et Loire). It consists of interlacing imitating basketry and grapes. This planter is signed in a cartouche "Charles de Boisimon & compagnie in Langeais (Indre et Loire). The Langeais factory was created by Charles de Boisimon in 1839 and will close in 1916. This decor is reminiscent of the wine region of Langeais, near Bourgueuil and St Nicolas de Bourgueuil.This planter is in perfect condition, it is very special with its mobile rings and its sobriety.From the XIX th century.
