"1930 Large Old Chandelier Parrot Bird And Porcelain Flowers Green Lacquered Metal Structure"
Rare large antique 1920/1930 naturalist chandelier in the 18th century spirit with a large polychrom porcelain parrot in the center of green lacquered frame embellished with 70 white porcelain flowers, all different. The 6 sockets are made of wood and brass, the candles are also in wood, original cream finish. Condition: very good general condition, wiring in very good condition changed a few years ago, ready to be used. Old patina and slight wear on the original lacquered surfaces and on the wooden candles, a few rare and very discreet small dings on some flowers, no flowers missing,please look at the photos. Dimensions: Total height 175cm, originally in the living room with 5m (20 feets) high ceiling of a large 18th century residence. The height of the chandelier can be reduced to 108cm step by step, by removing links from the chain (which is lacquered green like the chandelier), or even to 100cm by fixing the chandelier directly without the chain.
