Early 18th Century Small Treasures Box, Branched Wood

Beautiful table box, neat cabinetwork, solid and sliced wood, probably core walnut, with 8 hollow sides and ogee lid, typical of our French Regency period, circa 1720. 8 delicate and well-made miter cuts. Iron hinges and cut out hook. Good patina, good general condition, I mention, (red arrow) a repaired breakage on back.
This pretty box has been the pride of several owners, in particular: Mr. HG, and Octave Moreau, on 19th century, amusing ink marks below.... Dimensions: Box: 15.5cm x 12cm x 9cmH.
