"Desk From The Directoire Period."
Elegance and sobriety are the characteristics of this slope desk in mahogany veneer on oak. Upper top, flap, drawers, feet and sides are highlighted with brass threads, also note the beautiful keyholes and drooping handles. Old veneer restorations have been made on this piece of furniture and are visible in the photos. This office was owned by a famous family of writers. French work from the Directoire period. End of the eighteenth century.
