"Library In Cherry And Mahogany, Louis XVI Style - Early Twentieth"
Small Library with structure in solid Cherry and central part in Ressaut, Louis XVI style. It opens with three mahogany veneer doors, glazed on three quarters of their surfaces. Their lower parts are solid, with recessed panels worked in a four-leaf frieze. Each of these doors has a carved brass keyhole, its key and they lock independently. The middle leaf, wider than the other two, has its high angles cut into "Greek corners" and embellished with two brass Fleurettes. The interior of this bookcase is lined with three 32 cm deep shelves, placed on racks and therefore adjustable as desired over a total storage height of 125 cm. The upper crosspiece is decorated with a generous Bronze cut in succession of ovals and foliage and four falls of the same alloy embellish the upper ends of the uprights of this piece of furniture. The set rests on four tapered legs at the front and two straight legs at the rear. In addition to the interesting dimensions of this Glass Library, we will also appreciate its Elegance and Sobriety.
