Louis XIV Style Cartel In Boulle Marquetry, XIXth Century, Napoleon III, 91 Cm

Hello, I am offering this very pretty cartel to be placed with a box in "Boule" marquetry, with a brown tortoiseshell background on a wooden core and incrustation of gilded brass simulating foliage. The mounts are decorated with chiseled and gilded bronze depicting acanthus leaves. Dial indicating the hours in Roman numerals. A gilded bronze coc appears in the lower part. The top is embellished with a figure of Fame blowing a trumpet and holding a palm. The rear leaf decorated with foliage reveals a movement element marked LEPINE in an oval and n° 24646. Louis XIV style, end of the 19th century, with a beautiful height of 91 cm, a width of 46 cm and a a depth of 18 cm. PLEASE NOTE There are some small lacks of brass threads as you can see on some photos, but nothing really bad.
