"Armchair From The Louis XIV Period."
Louis XIV period armchair with policeman's hat backrest in a remarkable state of preservation. Upholstery redone in the already distant past and covered with needlepoint tapestry from the first third of the twentieth century. Very nice turning in opposition of the frontal and spacer crosspieces, only the feet at the back are not turned and of square section. Flexuous armrests nicely sculpted with leaves. Still of marked Louis XIII influence. Around 1680.
