China around 1900. Round rice bowl with sides, in silver resting on a circular, openwork pedestal, decorated with a frieze of scrolls. The sides are made up of nine convex parts, each of which is decorated with various scenes of human figures, dragons, bamboo branches and inscriptions on a guilloche background. Stamped and signed.
