"Armel Beaufils Pastel Portrait Young Breton"
Pastel portrait representing a young Breton woman executed by the sculptor Armel Beaufils (1882-1952) student of the School of Fine Arts in Rennes then that of Paris. These works often represent the theme of women. Originally a sculptor, he appreciates all materials, hence this pastel. Influenced by traditional Brittany, he collaborated with the Henriot factory. This pastel is presented in its original frame protected behind slightly bubbled old glass. It has not undergone any restoration.
