Pretty dish, storage compartment, in ceramic, signed "AR" for Alain Rufas, 1960s/70s, Vallauris. Alain Rufas, born in 1941, French painter, engraver, sculptor and ceramist; worked from 1965 to 2004 in Vallauris, then moved to Lavaur (Tarn), to continue his sculptural metal work there... Heavily chamotted and enamelled clay, relief figures. Excellent condition ; a slight enamel chip should be noted around the edges (see photos). Diameter: 13.1 cm Height: 3.2 cm Weight: 300 grams
