"Bouillotte Mahogany Table, Louis XVI Style - Early Twentieth"
Bouillotte table in solid mahogany and veneer, Louis XVI style. Its top, round by definition, is a Pink and Ocher Brocatelle Marble, bordered by a fine openwork brass Gallery. Each of the sides of this Flying table is equipped with a belt and alternately with a small drawer or a shelf. The first offer a depth of 4 cm, the second are covered with an original piece of green leather with a frieze on a hard bottom around the edge. All have discreet brass pull buttons or rings. A mahogany and rosewood marquetry embellishes the headband of this Bouillotte Table. This frieze in checkerboards seeming in relief is delimited and underlined by fine threads of various wood at the top and bottom. The set rests on four legs sheathed in solid Mahogany and finished with brass shoes.
