"Jacques Van Den Bussche - Fantastic Landscape"
Jacques VAN DEN BUSSCHE Marseille, 1925 - 2001 Oil on canvas signed lower right 135 cm x 200 cm Signed lower right Framed Jacques Van den Bussche is a painter from Marseille. His style is close to symbolism, surrealism and expressionism. He was a student at the School of Fine Arts in Marseille in 1943 and then at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1945. He exhibited in Paris at the Jean-Claude Bellier Gallery with, in particular, Philippe Cara Costea, Jack Chambrin, Georges Feher and Alain Mongrenier. Our painting is a fantastic landscape with a monster, birds and figures near a cliff. The subject, like the invoice, recalls symbolism.
