Exceptional and above all very rare ewer and its basin in silver-coloured tinned copper from the 18th century! In very good condition, complete with a sumptuous decor and shape! Work in the shape of a water bottle for the center of the ewer and very beautiful pouring spout, hinged and riveted closing cap, of very good quality! Probably palace gourd for washing hands and fingers! Inscription on the central part in Armenian letters, to be defined! Private collection of an amateur and collectors of foreign antiquities! Purchased at the time from an antique dealer in Istanbul! Original patina in very good condition! Height of 42 cm for a width of 19 cm and 11 cm thick for the ewer, and for its basin 31 cm in diameter by 5 cm deep. Visually stunning! Very decorative and of very good quality !!
