"Noble Child In White Dress"
Masterful portrait of a young woman (probably from the French colonies in Latin America) produced at the beginning of the 19th century by the anonymous artist from the circle of the well-known Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot. There are similar portraits in a few monographs on Corot (eg Portrait of Marie-Louise Laure Sennegon 1831 in the Louvre Museum, Paris).

Technique: oil on canvas. Classic style gold plated frame.
Dimensions: unframed 46 x 54.5 cm, framed 62 x 72.5 cm.
Condition: in good condition, lined, under UV light: slight encrustations on the cap, the dress, the sleeve and a few tiny encrustations on the hair.
