Abduction of a white man by a tribe of natives. The scene probably takes place in North America, among the Iroquois. Regarding the postures of the characters, it is certainly a matter of scalping.

Drawing in ink, wash and highlights in white gouache. Signed lower left in lead pencil, 14 x 20.7 cm at sight.
