"Small Showcase In Solid Mahogany And Veneer, Louis XVI Style - Late Nineteenth"
Small display cabinet, entirely in Mahogany, Louis XVI style, with top in Griotte Pyrenean marble bordered by an openwork brass gallery. It is glazed on its sides as well as on its door, in front, which reveals four shelves 26 cm deep, with brass edges on their three visible sides. Each of the windows is underlined by brass rods, cut into Greek corners trimmed with Fleurettes for the upper corners of the door. Similar frames are also present on the upper crosspiece of the cabinet. The front uprights are embellished with Grooves dressed in brass and they are topped with two protruding rectangular plates of the same alloy. The bottom of the cabinet, with finely molded edges, rests on four Toupie feet embellished with brass rings and sabots. It will be specified that the door is provided with a lock in working order equipped with its key and that this piece of furniture is entirely dismountable.
