"Sepik Sculpture"
Sculpture representing a face carved in a hard wood covered with polychromy. The nose with a pierced septum is adorned with fibres. The eyes in two black teardrops are adorned with cowries. Forming a grip, the representation of a tutelary bird, described in the round.
