Baroque secretary early 18th century circa 1700-10 A chest of drawers secretary, a base with three drawers, in the upper part with an oblique folded flap, with straight sides and a wavy front, leaning on profiled rectangular stamps at the corners, inlaid with walnut and mahogany. The set is decorated with framed fields and a border, lined with patterned walnut, two on the faces of the drawers and the flap, two on the sides of the body, close to a rectangle at the bottom, trapezoidal at the top . The hatch, once stowed, rests on retractable slatted supports. Inside the niche closed by six drawers. The back was covered with some kind of veneer probably covered with pegs in the 19th century. Pinned drawer bottoms, glued faces with vertical boards and a horizontal upper bracket. Cast brass locking plates. Brass support knobs, turned; brass hinges; steel locks, mortise locks, single bolt.
